SURVEYS/NATIONAL INFO
WCSU Core Survey:
The Core Institute Alcohol and Drug Survey was administered in spring 2012 and analysis was conducted throughout the fall and winter 2012. The survey assesses the nature, scope and consequences of alcohol and other drug use. It also quantifies college students’ attitudes, perceptions and opinions about substance use.
We use this data to assess students’ needs, to identify emerging trends and high risk populations, and to track progress or lack of progress over time. Evaluation has always been a critical component in the field of public health and, for Western’s Prevention Program; evaluation has been an essential element in all our grant awards.
